We are thankful for our blessings, Lord

Though they be great, or small.

But “Coming Home” to the little white church

Is the most precious of them all.

No matter where I’ve been,

Or whatever I have seen,

It’s here my heart can rest.

“Coming Home” to the little white church on the country road

Is just the very best.

There are calls to places far and near

As our earthly world passes by,

But our undying love is in the little white church

With the steeple that points to the sky.
